Playwright | Director
KATALINA MUSTATEA is the author of three full-length plays, most recently The Model, first read at Naked Angels before premiering at the Incubator Arts Project’s New Performance Series in August. As a director, she has staged innovative interpretations of master American playwrights in Germany and New York, together with the experimental theater group she founded in 2008, InOktober Productions. Their dance re-imagining of the early Eugene O’Neill one-act, FOG (2010), appeared at HERE Arts Center. She recently contributed the text for Nu Dance Theatre's Dorian C and is currently writing a new play called Caleb is Pregnant, which will be workshopped in January 2012 by True False Theater.
